Headed upstate to spend Thanksgiving weekend eating my weight in food and reading/watching old movies next to the fireplace.
Hope you all have a beautiful weekend - see you on Monday!

Very excited for Tom Ford's directorial debut, 'A Single Man'. It looks gorgeous, and it just so happens that he successfully cast every one of my major crushes (Colin Firth, Matthew Goode, Lee Pace, and of course Julianne Moore) in this film. Bravo.
Lately I've been reminded of home a little too often by seeing all things 'GOING ROGUE' in the news every day. Love these stack-able porcelain mugs for reminding me of the non-Palin-related aspects of Alaska.
GOOD GOD.
'La Danse' on Sunday, 'The Red Shoes' yesterday - I think it's safe to say that I'm in a ballerina haze this week.
We're just past the halfway mark in our epic 'Deb and Stu Grow a Mustache' series, folks! We've been faithfully chronicling our day to day mustache-growing, and as you can see, Stu's is coming along nicely. Sure, he may look super creepy, but that's part of the fun, no? And it's for a good cause!
Check it: I have a very talented friend. His name is Dan Lichtenberg. He is a poet. A collection of his poems are being released in the form of a shiny, beautiful book titled The Ancient Book of Hip, TODAY! Congrats, Dan! (Noweveryonegobuyacopy.)My husband and I, both from Southern California, fell in love with Paris culture on our honeymoon four years ago. We swooned over people picnicking at parks, walking their well-groomed dogs down cobblestone roads and kissing their lover near the river. Our jaws dropped when we saw the famous Eiffel Tower glitter at evening time. Everything about Paris was beautiful, we couldn’t get enough. Four years later and even more in love than when our marriage begun, we try to keep the Paris culture strong. We walk our dinner down to the park and admire locals. We kiss each other first thing in the morning and last thing at night. We also celebrate every new day with a pot of delicious French press coffee. Our special time have been called cafe parties because they are nothing short of a time to be happy, thankful and grateful for a new day together to work, to play, to live…to love.So hop to it! Let's help Sarah win the Parisienne trip of her dreams. You can vote here.
